Message for Website Welcome to the Website for the Elks of Canada. We encourage you to read all our links, especially about our “National Charity” – the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children, and see the accomplishments we make to improve life and our genuine concern for the children of Canada. See the Provincial/Territorial projects that the Fund supports helping hearing handicapped, disabled and stuttering children from Coast to Coast to Coast. My theme for the year is RESPECT. As a young lad in my home in Scotland, RESPECT for my elders and GOOD MANNERS were a way of life and carry forward to this day. I encourage all to think of the words of the Dalai Lama – “Follow the three “R’s” – RESPECT for Self Members of the Elks Lodges not only perform a service to their community but also have the opportunity to participate in sporting events such as curling, bowling and darts to name a few. In today’s society, sports and recreation plays an important role in people’s everyday lives. After you have had a chance to view the various links on this site, I’m sure you will realize the fun and satisfaction that can be achieved by becoming a member of the Elks organization.
